i’m not going to go on a full-on tangent about it. it should be pretty clear by now what my stance on the...issue is.
but during the time i’ve been with [DATA CORRUPTED] i’ve realized something. and that’s that this place? this canon? it’s fucked. it’s been doomed from the start. the smart thing to do would be nuke it, but...is it really worth the effort?
no. not really. and besides, the last, what, seven people who tried were all stopped one way or another. except the harmonicas, i guess, but we haven’t really seen much out of them lately, have we?...
no. we haven’t. because they’ve been forgotten to the endless stream of crises and tragedies and problems and whatnot.
i don’t want to be like that. i don’t want to get lost. so i’m going to tie up my loose ends, [DATA CORRUPTED] is going to tie up his, and then we’re ditching. for good. suppose you’ll all be happy about that, huh? except maybe you’re not going to like what i consider a loose end. maybe you’re not going to like what [DATA CORRUPTED] considers a loose end. actually, you’ll probably hate it!

i guess what this is is less of a warning. more of a promise.
